And what exactly is that project doing?
by looking at a schematic you can’t guess what the project is doing.
Be specific as we can only assist you with specific issues of your project. You must first know what your project should do.

In this project i want to read the temperature from the sensor and this temperature will be written on the LCD. Using the buttons I want to set a reference temperature. If the reading temperature of the sensor is higher than the reference temperature will start the engine.

Same principle as in this project, follow the logic in this project: https://www.studentcompanion.co.za/automatic-temperature-control-system-using-pic-microcontroller-xc8/

Sure, I saw, but it is the first project in MPLAB for me. It is difficult. I don’t know how to write the code for the up, down and set buttoms(for increase and decrease the reference temperature).

You can use the code principle for the up, down and set buttons as explained in this project: https://www.studentcompanion.co.za/digital-clock-using-pic-microcontroller-and-the-ds1307-real-time-clock-xc8-compiler/
