hi, i have a quick question. if i did the real time clock hardware, is the i2c debugger needed in the hardware? because my simulation only works when there’s a i2c debugger. so i was wandering if the hardware also need the i2c debugger.

    Hi.

The I2C debugger is not needed in hardware unless for troubleshooting purposes you would want to analyse the I2C packets. It’s only required there for simulation. You can also remove it in simulation but you’ll have to change the I2C pull-up resistors model types from analog to digital.

Right-click the I2C resistors, Edit Properties, Change Model Type form Analog to Digital. Then the simulation will also work without the I2C debugger.
